When people are only seeing reports talking about big business in the press, they may think that small business doesn’t matter.
I’d like to share a couple of facts I learned from Frank DeRaffele at a BNI directors conference in Manchester:
Did you know, From 1980-2005, firms less than 5 years old accounted for ALL net job growth in the USA. Europe is similar.
Did you know that in the US-99.3%, in Europe-99.1% and in the UK-98.9% of all employer businesses are small businesses?
So when people are talking about ‘big’ business it’s important to put things in perspective in regards to the contribution that small business actually plays.
