You are most likely aware of the Association of Taxation Technicians(ATT), as they set the benchmark in technical education and qualification for taxation technicians. It is the leading professional body for qualified taxation technicians who specialise in complying with UK tax obligations, compliance services and related activities.

Their members are qualified by examination and practical experience to assist individuals and businesses in complying with their tax obligations.

To mark their growing influence in the field of Tax Compliance they have just introduced fellowship status to mark their 21st Anniversary year.

Since admitting its first members in January 1990, the Association’s growth in membership has exceeded all expectations. Membership is now approaching 7,000 and there are some 4,300 students.

As I have been a member of the ATT since 2001, and my firm is registered with them in practice, I applied for fellowship status. I am pleased to have been accepted and am now allowed to use ATT(Fellow).

If you would like to find out more about the ATT, I was featured in their 2009 Annual Review.
